In his recent interview with the Spanish newspaper, Diario de Ibiza, German fashion photographer & director, Peter Lindbergh reveals his upcoming projects, one of which includes the filming of a video ad for Mariah's debut fragrance, "M by Mariah Carey." What projects are you working on now? On September 6th, I am going to shoot a video with Mariah Carey for the release of her perfume and then a campaign for Avon and then I am going to photograph actress Reese Whiterspoon, who won an Oscar for Walk The Line, about the life of Johnny Cash, for another perfume. I've just finished shooting pictures of myself for the French channel, Arte and I released my book Untitled 116 three months ago. Note: A distinguished director & photographer, Peter Lindbergh is behind the Pirelli calendars from 1996-2002 and has worked with top models Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford, Stephanie Seymour, Tatjana Patitz and Naomi Campbell; and top fashion names Armani, Boss, Donna Karan. He also photographed the Celine Dion perfume ad. Linbergh's directorial credits include Tina Turner's 1996 Hanes Hosiery commercial and the music video to "Missing You."  ボディ・ローション(200ml)も店頭で発売されているみたいですね。ローションは香水よりもやや甘い香りだそうです。で、下の写真はEAからの非売品サンプルでテイスター用紙は蝶の紙です。可愛いですね。さて、皆さんはM By Mariah Careyの匂いをイメージしてみましたか？先日マシュマロを焼いて匂ってみました（笑）綿菓子やベビーカステラに似たほんのり甘〜い匂いでした。マシュマロは焼いて食べたほうが絶対美味しいので興味ある方は是非やってみてくださいね。 I Thanks to Moony I ================================ August 23 ■ マライア・キャリー 元夫との生活を語る 米「インタビュー」誌最新号の中で、マライア・キャリーが元夫のトミー・モトーラとの結婚生活について明かした。モトーラにコントロールされていたと感じていたというマライアだが、彼に「感謝している」とコメントしている。 ブルース・ウェバーが撮影したほとんど裸のマライアが表紙の同誌の中で、彼女は「いろんな意味で（モトーラに）感謝しているわ」と語った。「彼をけなしたくないの。あんなに厳しかったことについては許さないといけないわ。オールナイトで遊びに行ってほしくないというのは理解できるけど、たまに友だちとスパにいったり、独りで何かをしたりする時間があれば、世界はまったく違ったものだったと思う」。 「その時間があったら、きっとまだ彼と一緒に居たわ」とマライアは続けた。「私のためを思ってそういったことを“させて”くれなかったのかもしれないけれど、そんな風には感じなかった。突然厳しい父親を持ったような気持ちになったわ…トミーと居ると、自分自身でいることを許されない、コントロールされた状況に陥ってしまっていた。今こうして話しているような会話は絶対にできなかったの」。 マライアはまた、映画『グリッター きらめきの向こうに』の破滅的な失敗と、その後の驚くべき復活についてもオープンに語った。「“ブレイクダウン”（神経衰弱）は私のブレイクだったと思うの。どのような形であるにせよ、どん底を経験する必要があったわ。システムに対してすごく強く押したり、戦ったりすることに代償を理解する必要があったのね」。 I Source : MTV Japan I ================================ August 22 ■ Mariah To Promote "M" at Macy's NY on Sept. 25 Mariah Carey will reportedly make a personal appearance at Macy's Department Store in Herald Square, at 34th Street and Broadway, New York City, to promote and sign bottles of her new fragrance, "M by Mariah Carey" on Tuesday, September 25th. No specified time has been reported. In a subject rarely discussed with the press, Mariah opened up about her mega-million-dollar divorce from music mogul Tommy Mottola. She tells the mag, "Something happened that prompted me to leave. If somebody does something to me that's too much, I have no problem cutting them completely out of my life." She adds, "I am thankful to him in a lot of ways. I have to forgive him for being so restrictive. With Tommy, it felt like I had this controlling situation where I wasn't allowed to be myself." She also tells Interview about her famous 2001 meltdown and her hospitalization for exhaustion. "I'm far from perfect. I'm still learning," she says. "I overworked myself, and I paid the price. I'm grateful to be alive." She continues, "I consider the breakdown a breakthrough. I needed to hit rock bottom. I needed to understand the cost of pushing so hard; fighting so hard against the system. But was I out of control at that moment? Yes." Blige, Slim Thug, Gnarls Barkley and Sean Paul. 今のところ当初の予定通りUSは11月20日にリリースを決めているようですね。9月から大物やら売れっ子やらのセールス対決が繰り広げられますが、マライアのリリース週には誰が勝負を挑んでくるのかが問題ですね。11月予定のアーティストは上記の通りですが、これ以外の人たちとの接戦に注目です。同じDefJamからはジャネット姐さん。が、しかし同レーベルで潰し合いはしないはずなので少し時期はズレるのが妥当。続いてタイタニックから10年ぶりのセリーヌさん。根強いファンは多いものの若い人にどこまで受け入れられるかがポイント。何より怖いのがSONYの大掛かりなプロモがありそうな事（苦笑）最後はマドンナ様。前作の成功で息を吹き返しただけに新作もやはり期待は大ってのが当たり前な感じ。でもUSではセールスは思ったほど伸びないのが現状であったり。いろんな事書いてみたけどマライアには本当に今作で夢の大記録がいろいろかかってるだけに頑張って欲しいです。 I Source : VH1.com I ================================ August 15 ■ Mariah To Receive "Star" in November? Mariah Carey will reportedly be honored with her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in November 2007. Each package also includes a DVD with previously unreleased tracks and extras. Carey's "Unplugged," recorded in 1992, is expanded here with three music videos, an interview, behind-the-scenes clips and the artist's own home movies. 9月18日にコロンビアからこれまでのMTV Unpluggedからヴィンテージに相応しく選ばれた4アーティストのCD+DVDを再発するそうです。この４アーティストとはマライア、アリス・イン・チェインズ、トニー・ベネット、ボブ・ディラン。何度見ても本当に鳥肌が立つ、この伝説的なアンプラグド・ライブ。ヴィンテージに選ばれるなんてほんと光栄ですね。で、再発するにあたって未発表映像等が付くらしいのですが、マライアは今のところ本編＋3つのPVとインタビューとホームビデオだそうです。←これってまったく同じものじゃないんでしょうかね？（苦笑）確かこのLIVEで本当はLTTも歌ってたという話を聞いたことがあるのですがもしそれが本当なら是非その映像を収録して欲しいものです。 I Source: Billboard I ■ Carey Me Home

The oceanfront Contemporary on exclusive Further Lane includes five bedrooms, 5½ baths, a media room, an outdoor pavilion with a fireplace and an infinity-edge pool, and more than 150 feet of beachfront. Carey could probably use some rest.  "M by Mariah Carey"の試供品が登録したUSファンの皆のもとに届いているようで、皆さんの使ってみた感想が寄せられています。気になる香りですが、ざっと見た感じ、付けた第一印象はやや香りが濃いキツイめ系らしいっす。徐々に和らぎ甘い香りになっていくそうで、年齢的に自分や、母親も好むようなちょっと年配受けしそうな上品な香りのようです。香水が苦手な人でもこのMは大丈夫だったという感想もあれば、付けた瞬間からまったく合わなくて苦手だという感想もありで、まっ、香水だけは人それぞれですから何とも言えませんね〜。 ちなみに日本の発売を調べてみましたが、E・アーデンでは店頭ではアーティストの香水は取り扱わないそうで、他の香水取り扱い店でも今のところ日本でのリリースは予定していないとのことです。早く購入できるようにして欲しいですね I Source: MariahDailyJournal I ================================ |
