■ 大晦日はライブで！全米で開催されるカウントダウン・イベント
マライア・キャリー [ラスベガス]：
ジャダキスと「U Make Me Wanna」でコラボしたマライアは、大晦日も同じ場所をセレクト。マライアはシーザース・パレスの「Pure」のオープニングにあたる大晦日の深夜、シャンパンを片手にカウントダウンする予定。午後10時スタートのディーヴァのパーティーへのチケットは、150ドルで販売中。
ジャダキス [ラスベガス]：
ジャダキスのニューイヤーは、ラスベガスのシーザース・パレスでスタート。ホテル内のナイトクラブ「OPM」で、21歳以上限定のパーティーが開催されます。開場は午後10時。チケットは150ドルまたは175ドル（ジャダキスとのご対面付き）で販売中。
カウントライブですがどうやらJadakissも姫と同じホテルのナイトクラブでやるみたいですね〜。なんか近くにお互いいるんだったら是非UMMWの特別ライブとかやって欲しいですね〜。もったいない。

■ ファレル・ウィリアムス 「マライアを常に尊敬してきた」
来年の3月に全米リリースされるマライア・キャリーのニューアルバム『The Emancipation of Mimi』には、数々のコラボレーターが参加している。その多くはヒップホップ・シーンで活躍中のスターたちだ。過去にマライアとコラボレートしたことがあるジェイ・Zは、マライアはヒップホップ・フリークだと語る。「彼女はヒップホップに関して膨大な情報を持っているんだ」とジェイ。「物凄い量のヒップホップを聞いているんだよ」。
一方で今回のコラボレーターたちは、マライアを自身のルーツに戻す手助けをしている。アルバムのタイトルにもあるように、これは彼女自身の「解放」なのだ。
「俺はマライアをマライア・キャリーに戻してあげたよ」と語るのは、アルバムで4曲を手掛けたプロデューサーのジャーメイン・デュプリ。「彼女の歌い方は、キッズが目指すことができるものなんだ。クリスティーナ・アギレラのようなキッズたちは、デビュー当時はみんなマライアに憧れていた。マライアこそ彼女たちが好きな声だったんだ。スタジオではマライアに『君がしなければならないのは、キッズがついてくるような音楽にもう一度戻ることだ』って話したよ」。
2曲でコラボレートした売れっ子プロデューサーのファレル・ウィリアムスは、「俺は常にマライアを尊敬してきた」と述べた。「彼女はたくさんの記録を打ち破ってきた――文字通りね。俺たちのレコードは素晴らしい出来だよ。（コラボレーションは）俺にとっては光栄だった」。
『The Emancipation of Mimi』は3月22日に全米リリース予定。

■ 米ABCテレビのクリスマス特番への出演が決定
12月25日に米ABCテレビで放映される、2時間のクリスマス特番『Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade』に、マライア・キャリーとアシャンティが出演することになりました。他にWynonna、Stacie Orrico、Diana DeGarmoなどが出演するこの番組の中でマライアは、フロリダ州オーランドにあるディズニー・ワールドから「Joy To The World」と「All I Want For Christmas」のパフォーマンスを披露する予定です。また、マライアは、12月31日にラスベガスのCaesars Palaceにオープンするクラブのセレモニーに参加するほか、'05年には彼女自身の下着ブランド『Kiss Kiss』をスタートする予定になっています。

WOW!! HBFからの素敵なX'mas Presentです。ついにHBFのクラブ・グッズの販売ページがオープンしました。今のところこの５品が買えるようです。メンズのブリーフくんかなりヤバイですが（爆）ピンクって....（誰か止めろよ、おいっ！）。一番普通なのが$65もするパーカーですかね。でも今円高なんで買うにも一番安いかも。ちなみに送料$16かかりますので購入する人はファン同士でまとめてかったりするほうがいいかも。

The pop superstar took a break from recording her new album, The Emancipation of Mimi, due out March 22, to perform “All I Want For Christmas Is You” and “Joy To The World” for Disney World’s 21st Annual Christmas Day Parade TV special. She taped the show, which airs Christmas day on ABC, on Dec. 5. As if that wasn’t enough to put her in a holiday mood, Mariah’s already at work on a Broadway Christmas show for next year! Superstar singer MARIAH CAREY is planning a special surprise Christmas present for close female friends and family - a pair of $28,500 (GBP15,000) stockings.
The hosiery is a specially-made version of a new range Carey is planning to launch in 2005.
A source explains, "Mariah is bringing out a range of hosiery called MARIAH KISS KISS next year.
"As part of this range she's designed some diamante-encrusted, old-fashioned stockings, but for her closest pals she had some made up with real diamonds."

We have just received information about two new song titles from Mariah's upcoming album "The Emancipation of Mimi". The tracks are tentatively titled "Sprung" and "Feeling It" and both were produced by Mahogany.

■ David Morales talks "Say Something" remix
HX Magazine caught up with producer David Morales, who has re-mixed numerous Mariah tunes into dance hits. When asked if he ever had the chance to make out with Mariah during their studio sessions, David said, "No! I wish. Mariah in person is very hot."
He continued, "I was just with her a few weeks ago. I’m working on her first single off her new album. I had her re-sing the vocals for the mix. I tried out the demo at my party in Montreal - it was unbelievable! It’s going to be one of the best things we’ve done in a long time. It’s so epic, it’s mind-blowing."
According to David, the remix will be coming out "sometime next year."
SSのRemixを手がけてるモラレスの話によると今回のSSはなかなかの出来栄えらしいです。数週間前に姫と撮ったみたいですが、彼の自信作でもあるようです。また一番興味深い内容として、このRemixでMariahが歌いなおしてるってゆ〜ことです。これはちょっと楽しみですね。ここ数年モラレスのミックスって私的にはとても退屈だったのであんまり期待してなかったのですが（苦笑）一番大変なのはモラレスが加わるとプロモを含めシングルが違うヴァージョンでたくさん出る可能性が非常に高いのでちょっと困る（爆）

Although Mariah's representatives failed to confirm her announced New Year's Eve appearance at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas, official confirmation comes today from Mariah herself.
As you may remember, it was previously reported that on Friday, December 31, Mariah will host an exclusive New Year's Eve party to celebrate the opening of Pure Nightclub inside Caesars Palace.
Although the marketing director of Pure had already personally confirmed to MariahDaily.com that Mariah's appearance was guaranteed earlier this month, Mariah's team was mum with any details and did not acknowledge Pure's press release. However, Robert Clark, a Mariah fan who has contact with VIP personnel at Caesars Palace, recieved invitations to the event, one of which was personally signed by Mariah, "See you there!"
